Frassati Runners

We are the Frassati Runners, a group of 3rd-8th grade students interested in the sport of cross country running. We are a Catholic group, comprised of students from Holy Family Homeschoolers, St. Ambrose Academy, as well as from other area schools.

RUNNING FOR LIFE

The goal of Frassati Runners is to not only train the body, but train the spirit. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. Combined with the right attitude, keeping our bodies in shape will also help keep our souls in shape. We offer up our discomfort to save souls, and we take our enthusiasm for running and use it to run for life, helping organizations like our local Elizabeth House with donations and good works.

The Frassati Runners are not just about running. We're about faith. We're about LIFE.

OUR PATRON

Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, the patron saint of our running club, was a holy outdoorsman who was known for both his saintliness and his athleticism. As a patron of youth and a fine role model for athletes, he makes an ideal patron saint for our young runners. Read more about our patron, Blessed Pier Giorgio, here.
